I’m so excited! My interview with Dr. Brad Nelson has been posted on his website! This is what they posted about my interview with him: JoAnna Oblander had a “Life altering visit with God” that has inspired people around the world, including Dr Bradley Nelson, so he decided to interview JoAnna about her book “A Glimpse Of Heaven” based on her experiences.
Small children are such an example to us! I can never watch a small child and not relearn what the Savior taught us about becoming as a small child. Their moments of anger are over quickly, their willingness to love is contagious and though they may become frustrated, they are always willing to push on and keep learning! What a world we would create if we did the same!
I cannot even begin to explain how important stillness (finding time to ponder and meditate) have been in my life. I frequently needs answers in dealing with situation in my life. Prayer is always my go to tool. God is always there for me and is always supportive of my search for answers. However, I rarely receive answers in my rushed, busy and frenzied moments. Instead, God waits for me to be quiet. It is kind of like a teacher waiting for a classroom to settle down and give him attention. When I have created a receptive atmosphere, God responds with his ever quiet still voice.
We are literally the children of God. Once we accept that and recognize His great desire to lift and guide us to better things, our willingness to accept His direction and utilize the power and strength of the Atonement becomes the springboard that enables us to accomplish every worthwhile endeavor!
I believe that prayer is a critical and irreplaceable tool in our “life toolbox”. The more I have utilized prayer in my life, the more amazed I have become by its profound power. I am truly humbled to be a recipient of such an amazing gift from God.
